"Variance - A Rift Between Worlds" is a top-down roguelike bullet-hell game, transporting players across procedural realities and tasking them with controlling 1 of 4 procedurally generated heroes in a battle to restore the Nexus Crystal and save the multiverse. 

Built in Unreal Engine 5, Variance aims to release sometime in 2024-25. In the meantime, here's a small demo video of an early build showcasing some of the procedural elements of the game, and check out the GitHub open-source code below!

"Shelfless -100% Off" is an action-stealth top-down game where players are tasked with the goal of hiding in plain sight and shoplifting as many items as possible without getting caught. With Shelfless I gained experience with collaboration in a group through resolving conflicts and consistent creation methodology. I also furthered my skills in level design by challenging myself to such a small environment, C++ and 3D modelling. Shelfless released in January 2023 and is playable for free!

In the sequel to Lava Rising, I aimed to improve upon the core experience. I provided better graphics alongside an improved movement system as well as providing the user with more visceral feedback to the gameplay. I continued the One-Tap gameplay interface where players have no buttons, and just press their phone once to interact. I also added in traps and more variation between the levels!

Lava Rising 2 released in December 2021 following apple certification and is available on iOS.

In Blackout you follow a miner who falls into a cave and must complete puzzles to navigate purgatory, all while a timer counts down blurring the lines between life and death. I aimed to create a level of randomess in the puzzles so there is always a challenge between levels. I wanted to give the player agency in their progression so I gave them 3 items to choose from when they unlock a new item.

Blackout was released in May 2021 and is available on browsers.

Ratz V Aliens is a tower defence FPS game where the player takes control of a rat and must collect resources to defend against an unstoppable army of aliens. I aimed to communicate the feeling of being a rat in a large street in this project and I improved upon my time management by balancing each requirement of the project. I also gained extra 3D modelling experience.

Ratz V Aliens was released in May 2022 and is available on windows via Itch.io.

Motel is an upcomming retro horror game developed in Unity where players must navigate through rooms completing puzzles and unraveling the mystery behind the disappearance of a loved one. The game features a deadly monster who will chase the player so stealth is key. I am taking inspiration from Silent Hill 2 and Alien: Isolation in the visual and gameplay design of Motel. 

Motel is aiming for a 2023 release and I'll have more details to come!
